You only have 2 eyes.  One Set!  They are precious.  Always be pro-active in your own vision care.

1. Eat Your Dessert
A healthy breakfast is blueberries and yogurt. Blueberries are one of the richest fruit forms of antioxidants, and a study published in The Archives of Ophthalmology found that women and men who ate the greatest amount of fruit were the least likely to develop age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), the leading cause of blindness in older people.

2. Sneak in Spinach
Eat your spinach…just like your mom told you.  Eat your spinach twice a week.  Studies show that lutein, a nutrient that is prevelant in spinach, could prevent age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. Check out our Ocu-Plus if you do not eat all your nutrients.

3. The Air and your Eyes Matter
Watch out for stale air, polluted air, or direct air from the furnace and air conditioning.  Also, watch out for the air conditioning in your car.  Don’t let it blow directly on you.

4. Watch Your Eyes On The Monitor
Make sure that you give your eyes rest when watching your monitor.  Look away often, and don’t focus on one thing too long.  Check out our RebuildYourVision Program for more tips on this and many other issues.

5. Eat Fish
Try to eat fish at least twice weekly.  Or, if you are not into fish, there is Omega3 Supplements.  Omega 3 is so good for so many health conditions, including your heart.  Check it out

6. Make Sure You Wear Your Shades
Don’t leave the house without your sunglasses.  And, make sure you have the right ones.  Sunglasses don’t help if they are not effective.
