Winter Means More Care For Your Eyes

You can help improve your vision: No Drug. No Injection, No Surgery.

After the beautiful fall season winter has arrived full force. The winter season brings with it a cold wind that can bother our eyes.

Our whole body needs more care during the winter season, and of course this includes our eyes. Sometimes people tend to forget about the eyes.

Taking the proper supplements can be one step to help us keep our eyes healthy.

Also, in the cold weather we tend to be inside more, and what do we do inside? Watch television or watch the computer screen. This is called “near point stress” because we tend to stare at one spot, sometimes even without blinking.

So, when doing that, make sure every 10 minutes, take an eye break and look at something far away…relax your eyes, don’t stress them for long periods of time. And, remember to blink!

Tip: When you come in from the cold, and you have made yourself a nice hot drink: hold your cup in your hands, and then put your warm (NOT hot) hands gently over your eyes, and just relax them.

Vision Tip While Lying At Home Sick

Avoid reading when you are tired or ill.  If you have to read then you should do so for short periods of time, with lots of rest for your eyes in between.

If you are watching television, do NOT turn off all the other lights, but rather, keep a soft glow of light in the room.  And as always, teach your eyes not to stare, to get fixated on one spot,  but rather start to roam your eyes over the screen. And don’t forget to blink frequently!

While natural vision improvement isn’t nearly as profitable as surgery or corrective lenses, you, the consumer, can save hundreds or perhaps thousands of dollars by safely and naturally rebuilding your vision through the use of proven eye exercises.

Vision Tip of the Month: Are you relaxing enough?

Here’s an advanced relaxation technique to incorporate into your daily Rebuild Your Vision sessions that has worked wonders for many people…

While performing the “warm washcloth” technique as described in the program, alternate the warm washcloth with a cold washcloth. For example, use the warm washcloth for 3-4 minutes, then apply the cold washcloth, back to the warm, and so on. You may need to run the warm washcloth up a few times as it cools. It works great to get the blood moving and to relieve your eyes of stress and strain. Best of all, it’s very enjoyable!

Vision Care Tip – The 10 Rule

I may have mentioned this, but, it is worth while repeating it!

“The 10-10-10 Rule”

Here we remind you of a simple way you can reduce near point stress associated with reading, watching television, and computer use.

Every time you are performing close vision work for over 10 consecutive minutes, look up and focus on anything that is at least 10 feet away, for at least 10 seconds. 10-10-10…

Incorporate this into everything you do up close. This technique, along with a few more
simple ones just like it can help to save your vision for years to come!
